Join this dynamic duo for an fun and intense camp that highlights the joy of modern saber fencing. This two-day clinic begins the evening of Friday, March 28th, from 6-9pm Saturday and continues on March 29th, from 9am-12:30pm. Clinic cost will be $120.

Join this dynamic duo for an fun and intense camp that highlights the joy of modern saber fencing. This two-day clinic begins the evening of Friday, March 28th, from 6-9pm, where they will address modern technical and tactical implementations of saber and free bouting with coaching. Group will be divided by skill level if necessary. Saturday, March 2th, from 9am-12:30pm, the focus will be on refereeing for saber fencing, which will include group participation and observation of "challenge bouts" to include group coaching in an supportive atmosphere. After the clinic, please join us at 2pm for our 6th Annual Grand Open Saber event with a finals gala at 6pm. The finals event will feature the final 3 bouts and top 8 awards of our the Saber portion of our Grand Open tournament. This celebration declares the opening of our new space featuring 8 competition strips within 6,000sq feet of fencing heaven. The gala will also showcase local beer and food, providing the opportunity for our community celebrate and also to participate in a Silent Auction to support our wheelchair fencing program. He is an assistant coach at Penn State University, the most awarded NCAA fencing program in the US. In addition to serving as coach and referee, Jerome competed with France’s National team. When he received his international refereeing license in 2010, he was the youngest practicing FIE referee in sabre. He has directed Junior and Senior World Cups, Olympic Qualifiers, Pan-American Games, as well as European Championships. Jerome holds a double Master degree in Chemistry and Biology from the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, France. He graduated with his final internship at The Pennsylvania State University in 2011. Fluent in four languages (French, English, German, Italian), Jerome has coached fencers in both France and the USA. Aleks Ochocki: Aleks is the current Div 1 National Champion and 2013 Senior National Team Member. He is currently ranked 28th in the World. Aleks helped Team USA win a bronze medal at the 2010 Junior World Championships and Gold at the 2013 Senior Pan American Championships. Along with his international results, Aleks is a 2 time Individual NCAA Champion, 2 time NCAA team Champion and 4 time 1st Team All-American during his collegiate career at Penn State. Aleks holds a Bachelor of Sciences and Sports Management with the Commercial Recreation Option with a Business Minor from The Pennsylvania State University. Aleks is fluent in Polish.
