Come join us for seven days of training with fencers from around the world! Athletes will be challenged to think critically and to develop tools and methods to empower themselves in their own training.

Athletes will participate in a variety of training activities: organized bouting, group drills, video observation, discussion and developmental exercises.

There will be two camp sessions each day with optional small-group training sessions in the morning and open bouting in the evening.

----- ACTIVITIES -----
Camp includes a day trip to the Oregon coast, scheduled evening activities (such as paint ball, picnic at the Rose Garden or movie night) and the War of the Roses Epee Tournament on August 12th. There will also be an optional white water rafting trip on the White Salmon River on August 5th.

----- COST -----
$750 includes all seven days of camp, home stay, meals, scheduled evening activities and entry to the War of the Roses Epee Tournament. Camp fee is waived for the following national fencers: top 12 Seniors, top 8 Juniors, top 4 Cadet.

There is a $200 fee covering camp activities, competition registration and room and board.

If housing is not needed, the cost is $650.

----- HOUSING & TRAVEL -----
A limited amount of housing is available with NWFC families. Housing is provided on a first-come basis, based on date of receipt of registration form and deposit.

Homestay campers will be met at the airport or train station.

----- REGISTRATION -----
Register online at http://nwfencing.org/summer%20camp.php. In order to register for camp, you must fill out a registration form. Please also register on AskFRED to show other fencers who is coming to the camp. If you would prefer to fill out a paper registration form, please send an email to nwfc_portland@yahoo.com

A nonrefundable $50 deposit is required to register. The balance of the camp fee is due on August 6th.
