Truly a very special camp, this one features the 2012 Hungarian Olympic Epee Team plus other top ranked FIE Foil and Epee fencers from Europe and the USA.

The FSA and IFC Elite International Foil and Epee Camp will be held from August 17th-24th, 2012 in the Greater Washington DC (Northern VA) Area, close to IAD, DCA and BWI airports.

American, Italian and Hungarian National Team members will be in attendance and the camp will focus on footwork, bouting and stretching.

The camp will be held in Northern Virginia, easily accessible from three Washington DC Airports (IAD - 15 minutes)(DCA - 30 minutes)(BWI - 75 minutes).

This camp is designed for competitive foil and epee fencers who want to improve their technique and sharpen their skills. This intensive week-long camp will benefit advanced fencers to prepare for the upcoming season. The camp includes physical training, footwork, drills, video sessions and plenty of bouting with a camp ending competition on the last day.

Other activities may include (based on interest): tours of Washington DC and other local attractions, sporting events, massage, swimming and spa.

Camp cost is $700. (Registration through AskFred will require 50% payment in advance.) FSA Family Hosting of students is available for the first 15 who request. Hotel and Meal packages are available through FSA as well.

Getting Here: Fencing Sports Academy is located just outside of Washington, DC in Northern VA. We are home to three major airports within an hour of the club – (IAD 20 miles) (DCA 25 miles) (BWI 60 miles).
