The objective of the camp is to prepare fencers that are planning to compete at the Summer Nationals.

Camp Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm Fee: $399 for those who are preregistered on askFRED, $449 for those who register at the door. Full payment, in the form of cash or check, is due on the first day of camp. Fencers will be required to sign a waiver on the first day as well. Special Instructions: Please bring a lunch and water bottle with you to the camp each day. A water dispenser is available to refill the bottles. The objective of the camp is to prepare fencers that are planning to compete at the Summer Nationals. The camp will give fencers the opportunity to fine tune and sharpen their skills along with mental preparation for the upcoming challenge. Fencers who do not plan to compete in the Summer Nationals are welcome to join as well. We are pleased to announce that this year’s Pre Summer Nationals Camp will be lead by National Team Coach, Dr. Eyyad Maghayreh, from Amman, Jordan. His extensive background in training, competing, coaching, and refereeing accumulates to more than 25 years of experience. He holds a PhD in Physical Education and has trained under the supervision of the International Olympic Committee in courses taught in Jordan, Iran, and Lebanon. Dr. Maghayreh is a member of both the Jordanian Fencing Federation and Referee Committee in the Asian Fencing Federation. He also holds the titles as Head of and General Secretary to, the Jordanian Fencing Federation Technical Committee. His expertise in refereeing includes positions as the Head of the Referee Committee in the Arab Fencing Federation as well as the Jordanian Fencing Federation. Preregistration opens on 05/10/2011.
