Dates: June 13-17, 2011.
Times: 2:30-5:30 p.m., plus open evening fencing.
Who can come: Any epee fencer, rated "C" or above.
Who will be there: Top epee fencers from Windy City Fencing, Peoria Fencing Academy, and elsewhere.
Cost: $350. Please pre-register on askfred. A $100 deposit should be mailed to Windy City Fencing by May 23, 2011. (Windy City Fencing, c/o the Menomonee Club, 1535 N. Dayton Ave., Chicago, IL 60642.) Balance due at the beginning of camp.
Coaches:
Tsanko Hantov, Head Coach and Owner of Windy City Fencing. Coach Hantov competed at the 2000 Olympic Games, and has coached fencers to numerous NAC and Nationals medals.
Elsayed Emara, Head Coach and Owner of Peoria Fencing Academy. Coach Emara was a 7-year member of the Egyptian National Team and has been coaching for 15 years. His students have medaled at many NACs and national tournaments.
Iliya Mechkov, Assistant Coach, Windy City Fencing. Coach Mechkov is a former Olympic epeeist for Bulgaria; he has extensive coaching and international competition experience.
