WWD is proud to offer an armory clinic taught by Hall of Fame Armorer Dan DeChaine. This clinic is for all levels, from those wanting to learn how to fix your own weapons to taking the level 3 armory test.

Just a reminder that the armory clinic with Hall of Fame armorer, Dan Dechaine is this weekend! This is a great opportunity to learn how to fix your weapons from one of the world's best! The core section on Saturday will focus on how to diagnose and repair your weapons and body cords. This is for both competitors and others (e.g. parents) who may want to learn how to save money by being able to fix weapons. Sign up today! FRED Announces the Armory Clinic with Dan DeChaine WWD is proud to offer an armory clinic taught by Hall of Fame Armorer Dan DeChaine. This clinic is for all levels, from those wanting to learn how to fix your own weapons to taking the level 3 armory test. ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- WWD is proud to offer an armory clinic taught by Hall of Fame Armorer Dan DeChaine. Dan has been an armorer for the US National team from World Cups to the Olympic level. The WWD would encourage competitive fencers, parents who wish to fix their children's weapons, as well as those want to know how to fix weapons, body cords, boxes, and reels to attend this event! This clinic will comprise of a core session as well as an advanced session. The core session will cover how to test and repair weapons, bodycords, lames, masks, etc. - topics of relevance for all fencers. The advanced session, will add topics such as repairing scoring machines and reels, and is geared towards club armorers and those who would like to armor at the national level. Participants in the advanced session will have the opportunity to take the Level 3 armory exam. The schedule will be as follows. Fri (5:30p-9:30p)[Advanced]: Boxes, reels, and things that club armors would want to know Sat (9a-5p) [Core]: Overview of weapons circuit, how to’s of all of the different weapons, body cords, lames, etc. Sat (6-9p)[Advanced]: Information that is necessary for those taking the level 3 armorer's test. Sun (9a-2p) [Advanced]: Session review and Q&A with Dan Sun (3p-5p) [Optional Advanced]: Exam time for those who wish to take the level 3 armory The fee schedule is as follows: $50 for Core session $100 for all Advanced sessions For the individuals who want to test for the level 3 armory, Dan has strongly suggested that they essentially memorize the "M" section of the rule book before the clinic. Furthermore, he suggests that individuals download the study guide for the Armorers College and study that well in advance of the test.
