2009 NJFA Summer Camps Summer Camps for ages 7 & up. Train with Olympian & Nationally-ranked coaches $350 per session, per fencer - 10% discount for multiple sessions (includes $100 non-reundable deposit) Enrollment is Limited!! 8:30am - 4:00pm - optional before & after hours. Emphasis on footwork, skill drills, bouting & Lessons, learning and improving abilities, tactics, strategies, and time management. COACHES Miodrag (Mickey) Zeljkovic: Earned Fencing Master degree at the University for Sport and Physical Education of Novi Sad in Serbia in 2000. Five Time Serbian National Champion of in all weapons. Former Serbian and Kuwait National Coach. Jelena Zeljkovic: Former Champion Serbian International Foil Fencer Marisa Mustilli: Two-time St. John’s Univserity All American, member of the 2001 NCAA Championship Team and placed 2nd at NCAA’s in 2001. 1997 Women’s Sabre Junior Olympic Champion, U-19 National Champion, U-19 National Team Champion. Payment is due one month before your desired session begins. NJFA 2009 Summer Camp FAQ Where will camp be held? New Jersey Fencing Alliance is located at 50-58 Burnett Avenue, Maplewood, NJ 07040. NJFA is a a 17,000 square foot facility with 20 fully equipped strips. Will meals be provided? Campers are to bring their own lunch. On some days campers will have the option of buying lunch provided by area eateries. Lunch will be from 12:30-1:30 daily. The club has a small refrigerator and a microwave which campers may use. Snacks and soft drinks are available for sale. How many private lessons will be provided? Each camper will get at least one private lesson through the week. Group lessons are provided every day. What do I need to bring? All intermediate & advanced fencers are required to bring their own fencing gear, extra t-shirt, water bottle, and lunch or money for lunch.
